The pep rally organized by Student Government to kick off the fall sports season was a big hit with students and staff.

In American Idol style, a panel of teachers and students, including Mermaid Olivia Moran, “judged” the “talents” of “candidates” for the FanMan cape.

Several members of Public Performance class (Blake Olejniczak, Jeff Vogelsang, Cameron Knight, Jacob Zeise) joined Danny Stewart and Steve Strutt in the tryouts.  Jabriil Nur sat on the panel with Frau Laaksonen, Senora Dory and Moran.

As totally expected, Strutt, elected to the FanMan role last spring, “won” the contest.
