If you’ve stopped in the Main Office at all, you may have noticed someone new. That new smiling face would be Mrs. Sarah Oettinger who succeeded Mrs. Donna Clement in the Main Office.

“I am the new Administrative Assistant in the Main Office. That means a lot of things. It can consist of any task that Dr. Ravizza or Mr. Masarik needs. It also can consist of helping with attendance, writing passes and being involved planning Meet-the-Teacher night,” she explained.

Oettinger is very motivated by the students and the environment. She wants to make a difference, to help make NDA a great place.

“I do a lot of behind-the-scenes work like getting ready for graduation in a few months,” she said.

Oettinger is originally from Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee, and most of her family still lives there.

She graduated from St. Norbert College and is familiar with the Green Bay area. As a graduate of St. Norbert College, Oettinger shared that NDA really stood out to her.

“The Norbertine aspect of NDA made me excited about the job,” she said. Having the previous connection from St. Norbert made her more comfortable about joining the NDA community.

Oettinger is a very family-oriented person who enjoys spending time with her family in Milwaukee. She comes from a big family, two brothers and five sisters, nine siblings including her to be exact.

“I am one of the oldest, and anytime you live with nine other people it’s an adventure. It’s different every day and there’s always something going on,” she said.

Oettinger likes working with the principal and assistant principal.  “They are very self-sufficient in a good way and are great leaders,” she said.

In fact, Oettinger says that the whole main office is a team and that they all work together well.
