“This year I have already learned a lot about myself as well as others. I have learned that it is now my junior year of high school and I cannot change my study habits, as hard as I may try. I have learned that college is something that is extremely important to me and I need to start planning out the rest of my life right now. I truly never realized this until now because of how much college is emphasized junior year. As for what I’ve learned about others, everyone has an opinion. They will probably express it no matter how rude and insensitive it is and judge you, so just be yourself no matter what. I am definitely optimistic about this year in the sense that I think it will go well for myself, but I am also scared. I am terrified of the future and what I choose to do with mine because, in the long run, this year and next will begin shaping the rest of my life.”
