“I’ve learned to focus on myself more than I have in the past. I’m a very social person and knowing when to be social and knowing when to maybe tone it down a bit is what I’ve really been trying to work on. I usually get very involved in my friends’ lives and I’ve learned self-control and how to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. I hope it’s noticeable. I also am trying to just be a nice person to everyone. Having grudges and anger towards people is just so tiring. Just being a friendly face and living in the role model that I’m expected to be as class president is one of the virtues I’m trying to carry out this year.”
