“I decided to grow my hair out after I did St. Baldrick’s my freshman year so that it could be used to make longer wigs. I didn’t do it sophomore and junior year because those wigs would be too short. I guess I shave my head for St. Baldrick’s to disprove the stigma that girls look bad with short hair, or that girls can’t have short hair. Your hair doesn’t define you. It’s not really important.”
