Academy Chatter: What is the weirdest dream you’ve ever had?

Clare Ravizza, sophomore: “I’m not sure if this counts, but freshman year Mrs. Brown dreamt that Ben Weber and I got married.”

Olivia Escalante Ortiz, sophomore: “I was getting chased by ET and I thought I could outsmart him by going into Lambeau Field. Somehow, I ended up on the boardwalk downtown. I thought he was going to kill me, so I jumped into the water and then I woke up.”

Maig McHugh, sophomore: “A day or two after I got my license, I had a dream that I was on a ramp going on to Highway 72, and I drove straight off the bridge into the water.”

Jenn Cluckey, sophomore: “It was right after I saw The Little Mermaid for the first time, and I had a nightmare that Ursula came into my room and had my entire family in her tentacles. She then was telling me that I was the only one that could save them. It was very scary.”

Hannah Ciriacks, sophomore: “The basement of my house was gone and turned into a forest, and I shot one Bigfoot but then another one came and ate me.”

Claire Loritz, senior: “I was in the jungle with my oldest sister and we climbed a tree. A snake came and bit her, and I said, ‘Why did you have to kill the good sister?!’  I was not on good terms with everyone in my family at the time.”

Lily Schumacher, sophomore: “My mom was knitting a sweater and I was sitting around in front of the fire in my living room when all of a sudden a little Chewbacca appeared that looked like a toy. My mom started to like it more than me and I stormed off into a ski resort where everyone was wearing 80s ski clothes. The Chewbacca turned out to be evil and pushed me off a cliff, to which an old classmate’s mom said, ‘It’s okay, honey, there’s stairs.’”

Kaylee Schill, freshman: “I dreamt that I was on my boat at my cottage and that I fell into the water and the cute dock boys saved me.”

Michael Heide, sophomore: “I dreamt that I was on a playground, and Oprah came and shot me.”

Regan Umentum, sophomore: “One time I dreamt that me and Kimmy, my cousin, went to California and met two Calvin Klein model-boy cousins.”

Courtney Tilkens, freshman: “I one time dreamt that I was in a driving lesson and I drove over the bridge and everyone in the car died.”

Sam Drake, freshman: “One time I dreamed that a ton of people threw me off a bridge, but then it wasn’t real like Inception but then Ronald Reagan tried to kick me in my sleep.”
