Mrs. Molly French is much more than just mother of NDA’s most beloved Fuzz French.

In fact, she is very actively involved in the NDA community as the “Team Mom” of the Varsity Football team as well as the Head Coach of the Track and Field team.

In high school, French attended St. Joseph Academy where she competed on both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.

It was here where she discovered her passion for running.

French was then later recruited by Texas A&M where she continued to run cross country.

Years later, after moving back and forth from Texas, she found herself as Assistant Coach of the Notre Dame Academy Track and Field team for 15 years.

For the past two years, she has filled the position of Head Coach where she continuously gets to share her love of the sport with young athletes.

“I love coaching because I truly enjoy watching the athletes perform and be successful,” stated French.

While she reminisced on her own high school days, French also shard a bit of advice that she frequently tells her athletes: “ You don’t get to do high school again, so find what you’re passionate about and do it, and do it well.”
