On Monday, October 28, the NDA Choir will host a Spooky Sounds Concert in the NDA Auditorium.
The concert is Halloween-themed and will include everyone’s favorite scary pop music as well as Broadway and film hits.
“There is so much great Halloween music out there. I thought it deserved its own concert,” said Mrs. Maria Hinnendael, choir director.
The choir has enjoyed exploring minor keys, dissonant harmonies and creepy text while building the spooky repertoire.
Hinnendael doesn’t want to give too much away “but there are some very famous pop and movie hits everyone will know and love”. . . and just might want to dance to.
Attendees can expect to hear performances from the NDA Show Choir, NDA Singers Show Choir and combined group numbers.
“There will be a dessert reception after the show with spooky treats,” added the choir director.
