“I hear so much about the culture and the students in this school, and I am so excited to be a part of it,” said Mr. Jason Anger, one of NDA’s two new English teachers.
Anger is originally from Altoona, WI, near Eau Claire. He graduated from Altoona High School in 2000 and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2015.
For most of his life, he lived in the Eau Claire area. During that time before he became a teacher, he dabbled in many different types of jobs and careers but landed on English Education.
“Going to college and meeting my wife are two of the most important things that have happened in my life because they both led to the primary ways I define myself: as a husband, a father and a teacher,” he said.
He currently lives in Kaukauna with his wife and three children: Finnegan (4), Penelope (3) and Josephine (2).
Anger has been teaching for a total of seven years prior to coming to NDA.
“For five years, I taught in a school named Durand-Arkansaw High School, in Durand, Wisconsin. When I moved to the area, I accepted a position at Kimberly High School where I taught for two years,” said Anger.
Now that he is here, he is most looking forward to meeting his students and getting to know them over the course of the year.
Anger will be teaching two sections of Sophomore English, two sections of Honor Sophomore English and one section of Junior English.
