Notre Dame’s annual College Night will be held Thursday, February 1, this year.
Juniors and their families are highly encouraged to attend this event to learn more about the process of applying for college.
College applications usually start the summer before a student’s senior year, which is approaching quickly for juniors.
The topics discussed will include using Naviance, NDA’s college prep platform, timelines for applying to college, developing a list of colleges, recommendation letters, financial aid and much more.
College Night takes place in the Auditorium and will start at 6:00 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Mr. Eric Wagner, who is the director of admissions at St. Norbert College.
Wagner’s perspective will help students understand the application process from a new perspective and help them know what colleges are looking for.
There will also be speakers from NDA’s student services who will discuss applying for college from a student, parent and professional perspective.
Attendees of the event will also receive a folder full of helpful information about the college process.
College Night will not be recorded, but if students are unable to attend they can pick up a folder of college information from student services.
