Notre Dame’s first blood drive of the year was held on October 10.
Despite not reaching the goal of 45 pints, the drive still made a meaningful impact in the community by collecting 29 pints of blood.
The blood drive, held in partnership with the Community Blood Center, will directly benefit local hospitals across the region.
One positive takeaway from the day was the smoother operation facilitated by working with the Community Blood Center.
“They are more organized and everything went a lot smoother,” said Campus Minister Kelly Waters.
Looking ahead, NDA plans to hold another blood drive in January, once again partnering with the Community Blood Center.
“Overall I am proud of what we have accomplished and am looking forward to the next blood drive,” said Waters.
The goal is to build on the success of this drive and continue making a difference in the community.
