As Christmas comes around the corner, I, a Christmas enthusiast and winter season lover, think that as a Christian school we should be celebrating and decorating for Christmas more.
When I say celebrating and decorating more, what i mean is that in the Atrium we should put up a Christmas tree or more festive decorations and decor like wreaths, or the students in advisories could do festive arts and crafts such as paper chains that we hang in hallways or in the commons area, and we could maybe put a nativity scene in the school.
Also to go along with the Christmas celebration we should keep the tradition of hiding the elf on the shelf. Another thing we could do is all make little coloring sheets for Christmas and put on lockers or even offer hot chocolate or Christmas cookies during lunch. Along with that, we should do candy cane grams so everyone is not excluded in holiday festivities.
Although we don’t have many days in the December months for celebrating and decorating for Christmas since we have finals and lots of advisory and mass days, we should still celebrate it as a school.
