Last week senior Grace Schuh signed with Berry College to play golf at the collegiate level.
“I am excited about meeting new people, getting involved in college and playing golf in warm weather,” said Schuh.
She is nervous about moving away from her family and friends but is looking forward to a new start. However, she is still taking everything she learned with her.
“I want to take my education skills and all of the life lessons from Notre Dame to Berry College,” she said.
Kindness, compassion, and a strong work ethic are skills she has developed in her high school career in NDA.
Although her new school is far away in Georgia, she was drawn to the environment, education and golf team there. The senior added she is ready for the next chapter in her life.
Schuh will major in Spanish and biology. After college she plans to attend medical school to become a pediatrician.
“I am thankful for my parents, coaches, friends and family who have supported me throughout my high school golf career, and I can’t wait to see what college has in store for me,” she said.
