Carson Glosny is one of the 16 Notre Dame seniors who signed and will be playing their sport at a college level.
This fall, he will join the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s football team.
The decision to join UWSP was heavily influenced by the coaching staff and community.
“They are stand-up, good guys, who will tell you straight. That’s something I really look for in coaches,” Glosny explained.
He emphasized the importance of having mentors who are honest and knowledgeable, qualities he found in the UWSP coaching team.
“They know a lot about football, and I feel they can help me improve my game and grow as a player,” he said.
Glosny also appreciates the campus environment and describes it as an “ideal fit.”
Looking ahead to his college career, Carson has set high personal and team goals.
“My personal goals are to be All-Conference in the WIAC. It would be an absolute blessing to be an All-American,” he added.
Despite his excitement, he acknowledges the challenges that come with transitioning to college life.
“I fear my transition to college from high school—sports, living style, schedule, etc. But I am also excited for some change and a new chapter in my life,” he added.
Nevertheless, the senior is grateful for the opportunity that was given to him and thanks everyone that helped him make it possible.
“I would like to thank all the coaches and friends I have at NDA for helping push me on and off the field, including pushing me to become a better human,” he said.
