Senior Mia Miller has chosen to continue her athletic and academic career post-high school.
The senior will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse in the fall.
She chose to go to LaCrosse because it is “a great-sized school and a good distance from home.”
As for tennis, she will be competing in Division 3.
Miller will be studying radiation therapy, and UW-Lacrosse is one of the few schools in the nation offering this four-year program of study.
“I’m most looking forward to meeting all the new people at school and continuing to play tennis,” she added.
Here at NDA Miller not only played tennis but also ran cross country and track and swam on the school’s swim team.
A varsity tennis player for all her high school years, she concluded her last year with a trip to both individual and team state.
