Academy Chatter: What are your plans for spring break?

Payton Van Pelt, senior: “I am looking at houses and schools for my siblings and spending time with my dad in Cincinnati.”
Mr. Kevin Shaw, president: “I will be taking time to enjoy March Madness!”
Avery Lyons, senior: “Go to Daytona Beach in Florida for the week!”
Nick Koehler, senior: “I am going to Grand Cayman for spring break with my family. I have been there twice before. It is a favorite warm weather destination of mine.”
Autumn Klemencic, junior: “This spring break I am not going to Florida with my mom because she booked a trip without me, so I’ll be at home doing nothing. Also, I have playoffs for nationals for my Wisconsin hockey team, so I will be playing hockey.”
Rebecca DeBoer, senior: “I am going to Canton, Mississippi.”
Cole Cullen, senior: “I am going to Jamaica.”
Sam Van Straten, sophomore: “We’re going to the Netherlands.”
Charles Peterson, sophomore: “I’m going to New Orleans for the band trip.”
Will Urick, sophomore: “I think we’re going to Michigan to look at schools for my brother.”

Bailei Anders, senior: “I’m going to a G-Eazy concert! I’m excited to see Gerald live.”
Nichole Michaletz, senior: “I plan to relax and spend a lot of time reading.”
Anastasia Geigel, junior: “I’m not going anywhere, but Sam Frantz, Lauren Hummel and I will be going to Door County for a few days. I will be working on artistic projects.”

Bryce Poshak, senior: “Not entirely sure yet but I think going to South Dakota.”
Peighton Milton, senior: “Going to see rocks and cacti in Arizona.”

Brooklyn Onell, freshman: “My siblings and I are going to Florida but leaving early because of sports.”
Mrs. Shelly Cowans, staff: “First and foremost, I am looking forward to spending time with my grandkids. I’m also looking forward to five days where I don’t need to think about finding substitute teachers.”
