Floyd Silas, junior: “The best day of my life was when I played my first high school lacrosse game. Being in a sport where I could show my strength against higher level players was so exhilarating. What made the experience better was I played against some of the guys I played against in our youth leagues. Another thing that made my first lacrosse game such a great experience was scoring my first goal. The reason scoring was such a big deal to me was because I was the smallest, youngest, and person with the least amount of strength on the field. So scoring made me feel good, and it showed me that I could handle myself with the more experienced and seasoned high school lacrosse players.”
Megan Zasuly, junior: “The day I get my license.”
Will Ernst, junior: “Mr. Konshak’s class.”
Melanie Luna-Guerrero, junior: “When I got to see Shawn Mendes in concert in the summer.”
Joel Meglic, junior: “Tendy day because I like chicken tenders.”
Evan Witzak, junior: “Martin Luther King Day because I believe in BLM movement.”
