“I love seeing parents and students in a different way than I usually do in the hallways. The whole atmosphere is just amazing at Tritonfest,” said Mrs. Claire Teitz, assistant director of development.
Notre Dame Academy hosts Tritonfest every year to raise funds that help with all operating expenses as well as tuition assistance.
With the annual theme of “Give for Good,” this year’s Tritonfest will be Saturday, February 1, at NDA. The festivities will feature dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles and time for relishing the camaraderie of the NDA community.
“It’s so much fun,” said Teitz. “You can dress up and guests eat a delicious meal catered by Chefusion, and we have an amazing committee of parents that decorate the Triton Center.”
Some of the major packages Triton supporters will bid on during the live auction event will be a hunting trip to Africa, a Packer party house for the 2026 Wisconsin Badgers vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish football game played in Green Bay, a trip to Washington DC to meet NDA alum and US Representative Tony Wied, a dinner catered by President Tom Kiely at the house of Vice President of Finance Ken Flaten, a set of braces from OSGB, a faculty parking spot for 25-26, a golf outing at Kingsley Golf Club in Michigan (with private plane transportation) and a mini Goldendoodle named Ranger.
Some other intriguing items include a Winter White-out Packers helmet autographed by Jordan Love, a Cessna Discovery Flight, 18 holes of golf at Horseshoe Bay and lots of other amazing things.
The items they have at Tritonfest range in value from $15,000 down to $10.
“Are my brownies one of the $10 items?” asked English teacher Carolyn Brown. “They’re really only worth about $5!”
NDA needs students during this event to help with coat check, sell raffle tickets and help pick up auction items for donors after the auction is finished.
The students that volunteer will get a pizza dinner and service hours for participating.
“We are hoping to have between 350 – 400 attendees to Tritonfest,” said Teitz.
One of the highlights of the event is a student speaker who tells his story about being at NDA. This year’s student speaker is junior Arnol Castellanos Perez. Teitz said he has a very inspiring story, and his ambition is to be a public speaker.
