Notre Dame senior running back Christian Collins is up for Sports Illustrated National Player of the Week after his outstanding performance in the Triton’s 49-28 state championship win. He rushed for 408 yards and 5 touchdowns on 39 carries. Collins also broke multiple state records in the game including, Most Rushing Yards (all divisions), Most Touchdowns (Division 3), Most Carries (Division 3), and Most All-Purpose Yards (Division 3).
