Senior Jack Frelich recently announced his commitment to Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he will continue his baseball career while pursuing a degree in engineering.
Frelich discovered his love for baseball at an early age and has played the sport for as long as he can remember.
His decision was driven by MOE’s strong engineering program.
“I aspire to be an engineer, and their program for that is so good,” he explained.
Although his official signing date has yet to be determined, Frelich is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
“I am most looking forward to playing baseball at the next level and continuing to process how big this is,” he said.
Frelich also confessed that he is anxious about moving away from his family.
Frelichs’s passion for problem-solving steered him towards engineering. Although he has not chosen a special field, he is very interested in creativity and the impact of engineering.
“I enjoy problem solving and want to be an engineer because it has a positive impact on society,” he said.
As Frelich prepares to transition from high school to college, he remains focused on excelling both in the field and in the classroom.
His commitment reflects his determination and passion to pursue his academic goals and athletic aspirations.
