Back in 8th grade I always thought Preview Night was a waste of time. This is why I never went when I was in 7th and 8th grade.
This all changed when my best friend and I were invited to represent Game Club. We took the offer, although we knew nothing of it at the time.
When I stepped foot into the Triton Center, I was nervous, but seeing everyone ready to share about their clubs encouraged me. By the end of Preview Night my point of view changed. I felt like Preview Night was a great experience and opportunity to encourage families and friends to consider joining NDA as their future high school.
It was an amazing time! I had fun teaching others about our club and encouraging them to join.
“I think Preview Night is a great opportunity for future Tritons to discover more about the schools that they will be attending for the future that includes clubs, sports, the school environment, spirit and activity, ”said Jerson Torres, a fellow freshman here.
Jerson and I are only freshmen, but we encourage each other and everyone else to do something fun. If you ever get an opportunity to represent a club like we did, consider taking the offer for a new experience and new fun!
