At NDA, rumors of a ghost have circulated for years, but only a few people have actually had first-hand experiences. 

Director of Student Services Jill Gerl met a supposed ghost hunter, and he mentioned that there are rumors about NDA being haunted. 

Interested, Mrs. Gerl began to ask around. She learned that the ghost was supposedly one of the first maintenance workers at NDA. The ghost was rumored to be a kind soul who still lingers in the building. 

Some people have apparently spotted the ghost in the weight room, where other strange experiences have happened. Multiple times, people have reported seeing a figure in the room one minute, only for it to disappear the next..

Equipment in the boiler room is believed to belong to the ghost, and it’s never moved. Mr. Jesse Adams, director of maintenance, can recall some other strange activities.

“I have been told the place is haunted, and Flaggy (Michael Hibbard) and I have seen things not possible,” Adams explained.

Hibbard, another maintenance staff member, heard toilets flush in the dark with no one else in the building. 

Adams also witnessed the sensor lights in the Priory activating on their own, and urinals flushing when no one is around.

“This has happened when I work late evenings and lock down, and no one else is in the building,” Adams said.

These unexplainable occurrences make some students and staff members question if there’s some sort of paranormal activity carried over from past schools in NDA’s heritage.
