NDA has a very strict dress code for students, including green, white or navy polo shirts, navy or khaki pants, and navy and khaki skirts with navy tights under. But the one rule I want to focus on is the skirt rule that you have to have tights or leggings under.
This rule I feel caused so much talk among the students about how NDA’s dress code is getting to be too strict. Obviously we need a dress code for the students, but this rule is ridiculous because girls are not allowed to have their legs out during hot summer days. Which is completely unfair to the girls because boys can wear shorts during hot days, but girls can’t wear shorts?
A good solution to this matter is that girls have to wear leggings under their skirts starting in November to May, like the boys can’t wear shorts from that time period. But in the months not included girls can wear skirts of an appropriate length. This will make the dress code equal to both genders, and there won’t be as much talk among students about NDA being too strict and unfair.
