Santa showed up Tuesday to culminate a morning of Christmas celebration at NDA.
The traditional program for Grace elementary students included a welcome from Principal Patrick Browne and music from the Academy Choir, the Concert Choir, the Symphonic Band and the Wind Ensemble.
The Public Performance class added to the entertainment with a dramatic reading of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
“It was wonderful to have our GRACE students join us for the annual Christmas show,” said Admissions Coordinator Molly Vandenhouten.  “The energy the GRACE students brought was contagious and spread holiday cheer throughout our building.”
All GRACE grade schools were invited. Attending were 1st-4th graders from Holy Family, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. John the Baptist, Fr. Allouez, Holy Cross and St. Joseph.
Despite the outstanding music and drama, the highlight of the program was the arrival of Santa from the back of the auditorium.  Once to the stage, he sang Christmas carols with the children, reminded them to be nice and handed out candy canes.
