Art Club Pursues a Plethora of Activities

Art+Club+Pursues+a+Plethora+of+Activities

Art Club, one of the many clubs here at NDA, meets at least once a month in the art room or sometimes in the commons or library, depending on the schedule and the activity.

The club is advised by Ms. Tina Harpold, the art teacher. She re-started the club at NDA this year as it was previously put on hold due to the art teacher switch.

Typical club events/meetings consist of different creativity-sparking activities. They have had events, such as carving pumpkins, making gingerbread houses, decorating Christmas cards for veterans, and even designing the NDA administration’s custom Christmas card.

Recently, the club held a Bob Ross painting activity where participants got to paint along with a Ross tutorial

Both the adviser and club members look forward to more upcoming events.

“I enjoy planning and coming up with ideas for the next meetings,” said leadership team member Stella Starry about her role in the club.
