First, they had to defeat a stubborn Menominee team Friday afternoon.  Then they faced a revenge-minded Pewaukee team whose only loss this year had been to the Tritons.  That Division 2 title battle ended with a 68-54 win–and the second gold ball in two years.

While quite a few Tritons were out of town on spring break, those in attendance were boisterous and supportive.  In addition, the Resch Center filled up with parents, staff, local supporters and NDA alumni, including former state champions Sammy Opichka, Charley Apple and Allie LeClaire.
