Cabaret Night is a night where Notre Dame Academy celebrates the arts with performances and artwork displays by the student body.

This event is scheduled for May 3rd at 6:30 pm at Notre Dame with dancers, bands and choirs in the Auditorium, individual and small band groups in the Commons, and in the Library with piano and guitar solos, as well as many other talents.

Food and coffee services will also be available to the people that attend. The teachers plan on forming a musical act for Cabaret Night and there will be other special performances as well.

Being in class all day, students find little to no time to talk with people about their lives after school. Even after all the time here at NDA, you still may not know all about your best friend’s talents.

Cabaret Night allows for all that to change. It’s a night full of excitement, as people with all sorts of hidden musical and artistic talents take center stage to enjoy the limelight.

“Next to Mr. NDA, Cabaret Night is my favorite event at Notre Dame,” said English teacher and head of the event Carolyn Brown. “The only thing wrong with it is that you can’t see everybody’s performance!”

While wandering from performance to performance, people often stop at the concession stand. The great food, courteously made by families of NDA, just adds to the great excitement of a wonderful night!

We think Cabaret Night at NDA will be a night to remember, just as it was every year previous. The school is lit up with sweet singing voices, graceful dancing, harmonies and melodies and of course the wonderful display of visual arts.

Cabaret Night is highly recommended by us, and we suggest that everyone stop in for a visit. There is sure to be something pleasing to the eyes or ears.

Some inspiration from your classmates and teachers might be in store as well. There is no telling who else might find themselves up on that stage next year.
