Athletic Director Matt Koenig shared the news that members of the girls golf team added another title to their season–making the Academic All-State Team.

After winning their sectional in the fall season, they qualified and finished sixth in the state.

But “more importantly,” in the words of the athletic director, “all six members of our team were named Academic All-State.”

Koenig went on to praise not only the girls but also their coach, Brian Bobinski, whom he cited for careful adherence to Covid protocols to insure the team had their fall season.

The whole school celebrates the six golfers–Lily Balison, Grace Durkin, Anna Grueson, Emily Noble, Belle Mae Williams and Emma Wolf–for their outstanding academics as well as outstanding play on the golf course.

The criteria for earning academic all-state are (1) a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25, (2) participation in at least 75% of the team’s varsity matches and (3) being in grades 10-12.
