The Notre Dame Dance Team tryouts started May 15 and continue through May 17.
Tryouts will be held at NDA from 4:30-6 p. m.
A panel of four judges, not including the coach, will view the tryouts.
The dancers are scored on how well they perform the two tryout routines. Judges are looking for potential, not perfection.
“Do your best and be yourself. The judges are looking for potential over perfection,” said Madeline Hilts, junior and current dance team returnee.
The team will be announced on Friday, May 17, online. Official practices begin after Memorial Day.
Off-season/summer efforts will include workouts to get dancers bodies ready and learning choreography to properly prepare them for the season.
