Two Sophomores Start Own Tradition of Decorating Library Tree

‘Tis the season to be jolly! Two sophomores, Jaedyn Mueller and Tinamarie Coronado, are responsible for decorating the library here at NDA.

The two girls began doing this last year when they were freshmen. The girls had asked to help decorate the library for Christmas, and they decided it should be done every year as their tradition.

Librarian Arielle. Browne supplies the decorations, and they all put them up together while exchanging stories about their families and their Christmas traditions.

“It means a lot to me that they were excited and willing to decorate the library tree,” said Browne.

Mueller and Coronado agree that decorating the library makes it feel more like Christmas time and spreads holiday cheer.

Browne describes the two ‘elves’ as outgoing and kind. She wanted them to be featured because she thinks their idea of decorating as a Christmas tradition is important and she would like to carry it on for years to come.

“Helping people makes you feel good and decorating the tree is a fun thing to do,” said Mueller about why she helps Mrs. Browne.
