Perhaps everyone’s most favorite day will be returning to NDA on Friday, May 3: Food Truck Friday!

Despite all of the crazy weather and schedules, Student Government has worked diligently to make this day happen for yet another year.

“This will be the fourth annual Food Truck Friday NDA will be hosting and it is bound to be the greatest one yet, ” said Mrs. Holly Hinch, NDA Student Government adviser and English teacher.  

There will be five trucks, the most trucks NDA has had, and will include: Maldanado’s, Wharf and Marrow, Egg Roll Plus, Taste of Ethiopia, and the Caribbean Cruiser.

“I am definitely looking forward to having my truck at Food Truck Friday because as a business owner it’s pretty cool to bring it back to a place I got my basis for business and entrepreneurship. I think it’s a really fun idea to do this for the students and am glad I have the opportunity to serve the students and faculty of NDA,” said Zach Sydney, owner of the Wharf and Marrow food truck, NDA football coach, and NDA graduate.

As the day gets closer and closer, students are becoming more and more anxious and excited.

“I like Food Truck Friday because I like to eat food outside with my friends,” said NDA junior Fritz Sehring.

“I am looking forward to Food Truck Friday because I love egg rolls and they taste way better coming from a food truck,” said NDA sophomore Anna Smith.

Not only are the students ecstatic for this event, but the teachers and staff members cannot wait either.

“Being that it is my first year here, I have never been to the Food Truck Friday event, but I am always hearing kids in Campus Ministry rave about it. I am most excited for the variety of different food trucks I hear will be here as well as the good food,” said McKenna Kaminski, NDA Campus Ministry intern and St. Norbert College senior.

To make sure everyone has a chance to partake in the fun, there will be an extended homeroom schedule that will be released next week.
