A total of 63 juniors and seniors joined the NDA chapter of  National Honor Society Thursday, November 10.

Father Jordan Neeck led the mass that preceded the induction ceremony.  The NDA chapel was packed with the inductees, old members, parents and teachers.

NHS adviser Kayla Robbins, who is new to her role, organized the evening activities with veteran adviser Diane Mulroney, Spanish teacher.

“I’m excited to induct new members as I am a new adviser myself,” said Robbins.

The inductees are evaluated on character, leadership, academics and service. One of the requirements is having at least a 3.67 GPA.

The four NHS officers explained the tenets for membership.  The officers are Simon Wied, Addie Weiss, Eli Bieker and Cody Huss.

Inductees shook hands with the officers and Principal Andréa Hearden after receiving their certificate of membership.
