Notre Dame Academy’s salutatorian for the Class of 2020 is Joseph Massabni.

“I will miss my friends and the great teachers at NDA the most,” he said.

While at Notre Dame, Massabni was involved in Investment Club, CS Club, Model UN, Robotics, ASTRA, Student Government, Cross Country and Tennis.

He said, “My favorite memory at Notre Dame is seeing my friends everyday and doing some sort of extracurricular later in the day, especially a sport.”

Something that nobody knows about him is that he was born and grew up in Kentucky.

“My parents and the desire to make the most of my opportunities inspired me to become a dedicated student,” Massabni said.

One regret he has is not getting involved earlier in high school.

“The small size of NDA has given me the opportunity to lead and get involved with clubs and create new things, as well as getting to know my teachers and friends well,” he said.

Massabni will attend the University of Chicago in the fall and study economics and computer science. In ten years he hopes to be starting his own business.
