Whether on stage or backstage everyone involved in the NDA musical Annie has been busy.

Sophomore Caroline Broberg has taken three roles:  Mrs. Pugh, Connie and one of the Boyaln sisters.

“The most challenging part for me is always the choreography. I love to dance, but I need to work on it the most out of everything,” said Broberg.

She has been working on memorizing her lines, perfecting the choreography and polishing her performance.

Sophomore Lilliana Poehlmann is part of the stage crew and helps move things on and off the stage.

“The most challenging part for me is the time needed to be put into the musical,” said Poehlmann.

She has learned to manage her time and move swiftly when changing the set.

Despite the challenges that come with being involved in the musical, the cast and crew have enjoyed their time.

“The musical is a well-oiled machine, and I am proud to be a gear in it,” said Broberg.

“It is a huge commitment but really beautiful and worth it,” said Poehlmann.

They have enjoyed the communal aspect and the memories made during their time in the show.
