Notre Dame Academy will host its annual Preview Night for potential incoming freshmen and their families on November 3 from 5:30 to 7:30.

Principal Andrea Hearden, President Tom Kiely, and Business Manager Ken Flaten will start the event with a presentation from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. in the Auditorium.

“The presentation is on academic programs, financial aid, and extracurricular activities,” said Assistant Director of Enrollment Molly VandenHouten. She and the Director of Enrollment, Mrs. Sarah VanGrunsven, are the organizers and hosts of the event.

After the presentation, prospective students can take a tour of the school and meet with club leaders. Displays will be set up in the Triton Center, giving families the opportunity to see the diverse clubs NDA offers.

Athletic teams are also going to be at the event. Families can talk to coaches and athletes to explore what sports their child might join.

Preview Night is a big event for NDA and a key way to ensure a strong enrollment.

“We normally average over 100 families,” said VandenHouten.

If a 7th or 8th grade student is further interested in experiencing NDA for a full day, parents can email Ms. VandenHouten at [email protected] to set up a shadowing experience.

Snacks and water will be provided in the commons during Preview Night, and the school store will be open to purchase NDA apparel.
