Last week members of the Art Club painted over 200 eggs to prepare for the school-wide Easter egg hunt on Wednesday, April 3.
The Art Club provided the supplies needed for the activity, and no fee was required, unlike previous activities this year.
“It was particularly enjoyable to have an event that was more laid-back compared to other events,” said sophomore Ngoclam Nguyen, leadership member.
Nguyen says the most challenging part was painting enough eggs for the hunt in such little time.
The eggs will be hidden around the school so students can find them and get prizes inside
“There will also be some Willy Wonka-style ‘golden tickets’ in a few eggs that will be worth larger prizes in the art room,” said art teacher and club adviser, Tina Harpold.
She encourages students to participate in the event.
