This year’s Academy Ball is set for Saturday, May 3, at Badger State Brewing Company in their Barrel Haus room. 

Juniors and seniors were able to purchase tickets the last two weeks to attend this year’s dance. 

The advisers promise the students attending “a night of elegance and celebration.”

Students were allowed to bring along non-NDA students by filling out a guest pass and returning it at the beginning of April to guarantee their guest a chance to experience the night with them. 

The cost of the tickets for students who attend NDA was $45, and non-NDA students’ tickets cost $50. 

The fundraising from Academy Awards, held in the winter before final exams, helps to alleviate the cost of this event. This is why our tickets are less expensive than other schools. 

Doors will open at 6:30 with the dinner and dance to follow.

This year’s dinner is catered in by Runaway Spoon, and students will be able to enjoy Tuscan Grilled Chicken with Rosted Heirloom Tomatoes, a mixed greens salad topped with a buttermilk chive dressing, Mac N Cheese and petite green beans. 

The dance will conclude at 10:00 pm.
