Planning is in full swing for Tritonfest, Notre Dame Academy’s largest annual fundraiser and one of the school community’s most anticipated events.
Set for Saturday, January 31, 2026, this year’s celebration will once again be held in the Triton Center and will feature an evening filled with fellowship, food and fundraising.
The evening will kick off with Mass at 4:30 p.m., followed by a reception where guests can mingle, bid on silent auction items and purchase raffle tickets.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and the live auction will begin at 7 p.m.
A key part of Tritonfest each year is the support of NDA students, and organizers say their help is essential for the event.
“We truly couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers,” said main organizer Joey Rickards.
Students will have the opportunity to write thank-you notes ahead of the event, greet guests, sell raffle tickets, assist with purchases during the evening and help with clean-up on Sunday. All hours count toward service requirements.
This year’s student speaker will be Senior Caroline Broberg, who will share her experiences and perspectives with attendees during the program.
The work that makes Tritonfest possible began months ago.
A dedicated team of parent volunteers has been soliciting donations from businesses and community members since September, while official planning meetings began in August.
“The support from our parent volunteers is incredible. They give countless hours to make Tritonfest the success it is every year,” noted Rickards.
Students and families are encouraged to contribute in creative ways.
Handmade items, tutoring lessons, lawn care, athletic training and other students’ talents are all welcome as auction donations.
Families interested in contributing or becoming event sponsors may contact Rickards or Claire Teitz in the development office.
Tickets for Tritonfest go on sale December 15 and will be half price through December 31st.
Organizers hope for a strong turnout and remind the community that the event is not only crucial for fundraising but also a meaningful tradition for bringing families together.
“Tritonfest is more than an auction; it’s a chance for our NDA community to celebrate, connect and support the mission of our school,” said Rickards
