In the neighborhoods filled with green lawns and aging siding, two Notre Dame Academy students are quietly reviving the homes of Green Bay, one wash at a time. 

“We just love being outdoors, and starting this business really gave us this sort of freedom and a head start,” said Micah Warren. 

“When they cleaned my driveway this summer, all I can say is I was astonished by the results; it was so close to perfect, actually. I’ll give it to them; it was perfect,” said senior Ben Burgess. 

Precision Exterior Cleaning, LLC, is a locally owned exterior washing business launched by Warren and fellow senior Charles Dart.

What started as a $5,000 idea between the two friends has grown into a full-service operation serving commercial clients, with a mission rooted in grit, freedom and results. 

“We just liked being outside and working for ourselves,” Warren said. “We didn’t want to wait until college to try something big.”

The two officially launched the business in the summer of their sophomore year, 2023.

That first season brought in just $3,000. 

Fast forward two years, and they’ve formed an LLC, invested in professional-grade equipment and done jobs like cleaning the entire Notre Dame Academy building, which took five full days of nonstop labor. 

“I thought they did a wonderful job, as I hired them again for this summer. I would recommend them to anyone, residential or commercial,” said Jessie Adams, the Director of Maintenance at Notre Dame Academy. 

“That job was definitely our most intense,” Dart said. “But seeing the results made it worth it.” 

“They showed up in our neighborhood, and we had our windows pressure-washed,” said English teacher Carolyn Brown.  “They did a great job at a reasonable price.”

Precision Exterior Cleaning offers window washing, pressure washing, and even garbage can cleaning, a niche summer service with surprisingly high demand. But their speciality is what they call “flat work,” such as long driveways, sidewalks, and even patios that go from mossy gray to bright concrete in just a few passes. 

“With windows, the change is very subtle,” said Warren. “But nothing is more satisfying than pressure washing. You watch the transformation happen right in front of you, and it’s amazing.”

The name Precision was chosen to describe their personal identity.

 “Anytime I hear it, I think about all the long days and hard work that went into it,” Warren said. “That’s our identity, serving the community and giving the best results, no matter what it takes.”

The setup they have managed to build is far from a rookie setup; the team hauls a full trailer equipped with a 20-inch surface cleaner, soft wash system and a water-fed pole for streak-free window jobs, and more. 

Precision has a Google Services profile, yard signs that stretch across town and recurring clients who are happy with the results.

“A few signs probably brought in over $4,000 of work,” said Dart. “It’s all word of mouth and consistency.”

Senior Aiden Doxitator of CDR Lawncare said, “Precision Exterior Cleaning isn’t necessarily a competitor of ours, but they do an amazing job for sure. Out of all the people you could hire around Green Bay to get a good service, I believe the guys at Precision probably are the most reliable people you can go to, if you want good results at least.”

“If a client isn’t overexcited when we’re done, we treat it as if it were a failure,” Warren expressed. “We hold ourselves to the highest standard; every house matters.” 

The long-term future is still in the works. College is coming fast for the two, and an expansion might mean hiring more workers. But for now, they’re staying focused on the work they can do in Green Bay and continuing to build the kind of reputation that the person reading this and their grandmothers would trust.
